Thanks y'all but time to move on..

Update March 2020:

Although everything below is still true and I still have a passion for American-made, after much thought and prayer I decided to pull down my web store. To be completely transparent, I cannot make any money at the prices I've been selling my shirts at and with my wife and I both working full-time (or more) and with 3 kids that I like to see occasionally it just wasn't worth the time and investment to continue. I've been basically break even to get my brand out there and keep my dream alive. However, it's time to face the facts that not enough folks are willing to pay $70 or more for an American-made casual shirt (which is the price point I need to be at). And with the current virus lockdown situation and so many Americans lives and jobs being affected I have to say that buying American-made button up shirts isn't likely to make the short list of priorities any time soon.

So, with a heavy heart and a very sincere thanks to all my customers that took a chance on an unknown brand to support the working Americans in the textile industry I have to say goodbye and move on to the next chapter.

Best regards from the Rayborn family.

The Blackland Brand - Uniquely American.

The inspiration

Blackland Clothing Company is named after my family's farm in central Texas. It was located on the Blackland Prairie - a mostly agricultural area known for its dark rich soil. We raised cattle on the grass and catfish in the pond. I've always appreciated things that work hard day after day and are built to last, whether they be jeans, coats, gloves or tools. Over time I became frustrated at how many of these things that used to be made in the USA were now imported from Asia. Not surpisingly they no longer lasted like they used to. We were becoming a throw-away society.

Classic style... built to last

So I decided to do something about it. I had to sell the farm to make it happen, but I was determined to make a difference so I founded Blackland Clothing Company and starting designing my own clothing. Not "fashion week" clothing that you see in newspapers and discussed by hipsters in the latest trendy coffee bar - but the type of clothes that men can wear every day and look good in and feel good about wearing - whether in an office or at a backyard BBQ.  I hope you'll appreciate our versatile, down to earth style and feel good knowing that every item is made here in the USA.

America First

My products are 100% made in the USA. While it costs a whole lot more than to manufacture in Asia, I feel it's important to our country and our communities and that's something I won't compromise on. My clothes are made by skilled American workers who take pride in their work and I am offering them to you at a darn good price. Try my clothing out. I think you'll be pleased and I hope you'll tell others about us.

Unconditionally guaranteed

I stand behind my Blackland brand 100%. If you are not satisfied for any reason I will refund your purchase or replace your item. I only ask that you let us know why so that we can continue to improve our products and ensure that they live up to the Made in USA label.

Thanks for your business!
